Jose Serrano (D-NY) reintroduced a bill in Congress that would repeal the Twenty-Second Amendment. The 22nd Amendment passed by Congress on March 21, 1947, places term limits on the U.S. Presidency.
House Joint Resolution 15, “amends the United States Constitution to repeal the 22nd article of amendment, thereby removing the limitation on the number of terms an individual may serve as President.”
The 22nd Amendment stipulates, “No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of the President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of the President more than once.”
The POTUS, Obama, has issued more than “89” Executive Actions since 2010, bypassing Congress’s approval. If thwarted, the potentate may pass this Bill through E.A. to assure a third term.
President Obama worked for the Association of Community Organization for Reform Now, so he is aware of how the structured voting system operates. He had a 20-year association with ACORN, which he kept after he left the group. The organization was known to have elicited multiple voter registration, plus destroyed registration forms of those who opposed ACORN’s candidate.
Obama became Acorn’s attorney, representing them in a voter’s fraud case. In another case for the organization in 1993, Obama sued the state of Illinois, in ACORN vs Edgar, to remove Voter I.D. requirements, and won his case.
